iOS 13 is loaded with a lot of new features, and the stock iOS keyboard now has one of those new features. Apple calls this QuickPath feature and enables you to type through the iPhone keyboard. While some iOS keyboard apps, such as Gboard and Swiftkey, do support this feature, for the native iOS keyboard this is a new feature.
Now as much as some prefer to swipe to typing, this is not perfect for all of us and is enabled by default. Although it is not supposed to get in your way, if you want, you can disable it.
How to Disable or Enable Swipe Keyboard in iOS 13
- Open the Settings app and head over to General.
- Scroll down a bit and tap Keyboard.
- Scroll down to Slide to Type and disable it.
- If you want to enable it, you can simply enable it again.
