For more than 15 years, Facebook has been around. It is one of the popular social media sites on the Internet, with almost three billion monthly active members. You almost certainly have a Facebook account if you’re reading this. Users can deactivate or permanently erase their Facebook accounts. If you change your mind after 30 days of canceling your account, retrieving your data will be difficult.

You can remove a Facebook account using the Android and iOS mobile apps or a web browser. It’s worth noting that Facebook only allows you to recover an account and all of its posts and information within 30 days of it being deleted. Facebook requires up to 90 days to completely delete the account and all of its information.
